ISSUE #3 - ANGEL OF THE SOUTH
ISSUE #3 - ANGEL OF THE SOUTH
This third issue of Dial In brought us back to the UK and back to one of their best in Sweven who are based in Bristol. A fascinating case study of a roastery and cafe who started as a cafe first opening in the most difficult of times - during Covid. However, from then onwards they grew continuously up to the point they are at today; not the biggest, not the smallest but where Aga and Jimmy, the founders, have found their sweet spot.
Issue #3 breaks down how Jimmy and Aga started their careers, what drew them to choose the coffee industry as the one they wanted to grow into and how they have gotten to where they are today - something we attribute to their ethic, giving personalities and excellent 'Scandi style' roasting. As always, we featured some of Sweven's most important partners who have been key to their journey on their way with CATA Export playing a huge part in this and breaking down the famous 'CATA Project' that Sweven have run from day one. A great knowhow from from Option-O and how they are a staple on Sweven's coffee bar to something excitingly close home: Palm Media explaining how the coffee and broader hospitality industry craves and welcomes creatives.
Thank you to CATA Export & Sweven - The first x60 purchase on an issue #3 magazine will come with 100g of Nestor Lasso's Advanced Natural Typica Mejorado, roasted by Sweven.
